Hello, September.
I promise not to pre-judge you based on the past or decide what you’re going to be by inserting my fear about the future.

I’m willing to let you be whatever you’re going to be and I’ve already decided that you’re going to be good, no matter what you bring.

I hold my family in love with all the clumsiness a healing woman. I’ve always hoped to be someone that would be spoken about like “she never said an unkind word about anyone” or “no matter what, she made me feel loved” but I know I’ve already blown that by a mile. I’ve choked on a lot of pride. While I’m also willing to let this season of me be one I offer compassion and grace to, I’m also more relentless than ever in making the changes I need to make so that the people I love know, without question, that I love them.
