You Are Your Ancestors’ Dream

Can you wrap your mind around the possibility that you are the culmination of all the brightest hopes and dreams of your ancestors?
If you trusted this to be truth even if you can’t quite fathom it because you have a laundry list of shortcomings and missteps, how much more of the unknown would you be able to endure?
More importantly, how much of the unknown would you choose to see as a big field of rich soil, completely unresistant to you tromping through and sowing seeds for the inevitable summer?

Would you be willing to shove your thumb down into the soil, to drop a pair of seeds in the hollow you’ve created - always two in case one does not germinate - knowing that the blueprint for growth is in that seed?

Most of us have never known a time more re-orienting for our self-awareness than this time, right now.
“...Sometimes everything has to be inscribed across the heavens so that you can find the one line already written inside you.
Sometimes it takes a bright sky to find that first, indescribable wedge of freedom in your own heart.
Sometimes from the bones of the black sticks left when the fire has gone out, someone has written something new in the ashes of your life…” (David Whyte)
