Learn intriguing techniques and simple tips as you join me in the process of making a painting from beginning to end rich with personal symbology and layered techniques. As you journey through this course, you'll do a little research into ancient and indigenous mark making to connect with combinations of lines and shapes that resonate with you most. Inspired by your research, you'll make your own personal pattern – a hieroglyph of sorts – to include in the painting as a representation of something in your life you want to give visual voice to. It may be a triumph, an evolution of self, or a way of being you intend to embody from here on out.
